“The university is a clear-cut fulcrum with which to move the world.” – Charles Malik, President of the UN General Assembly

Stewarding this enormous opportunity is exciting, but also challenging, as we train and mobilize college students to reach and lead their peers. They are young, idealistic, teachable; they are also inexperienced, unformed theologically and young spiritually. InterVarsity staff stand in that gap, enabling student leaders to do their best ministry, to stay faithful to the gospel, and to leverage their experience in life and ministry for their own spiritual formation.

We can’t do it alone. The U of I staff team relies on thousands of people supporting the work at U of I in various ways, giving, interceding for staff and students, volunteering, and networking us to others who could share our vision.
